“In protest of this global tragedy — until this issue is resolved, until everybody has access to clean water and sanitation — I will not go to the bathroom,” – Matt Damon.
Ok, so although it is highly improbable that he will refrain from using the bathroom, Matt Damon’s strike video (below) follows the path of using humour (and the creation of viral videos) to share an important message.
Damon is the co-founder of water.org, a non-profit which provides clean water and sanitation to communities in Africa, South Asia and Central America. In the video Damon tells us about World Toilet Day, the annual November event that raises awareness for the more than 2.5 billion people who don’t have access to toilets, something which causes water pollution, disease and death

This. I love that he has “broken up” with Obama now as well. I think it’s great that he is taking part in the global community, even if it is in this way. “Are we calling this one Matt Damon, no cup?” Slayed me!
