Infographic: The Psychology of Poverty

Studies have shown that the levels of worry that go hand in hand when dealing with poverty are causing immense metal strain on those caught up in the poverty cycle. Money worries are creating a vicious  cycle in American society. Many do not have access to or cannot afford health care, this lack of treatment when struggling with common problems such as depression can ultimately lead to unemployment as their mental health continuos to deteriorates.

As the American dream struggles to live up to its reputation and economic security continues to deteriorate the gap between the rich and the poor continuos to rise as does the number of homeless and mentally ill.
