Introducing IPF Elect

Elections. When most people think of exciting campaigns and elections, they may not think about their home elections, but the U.S. elections. To be fair, elections in the U.S. are often like every other election. Presidential elections are the most exciting, while the others seem dull and unchanging.

Having worked at the grassroots level during the 2012 election, I can attest to the adrenaline-like feeling of having put in serious effort merely to persuade people to use their vote and voice in the first place. Dissatisfaction often follows individuals who do not feel as if they can use their vote because it does not promote change. This is probably the biggest issue in electoral politics today.

We often hear of the complaints, the controversies and the major problems. The bad oppresses the good done in office in most places. It is because of the struggle to be better… To be better with human rights records, to do better in global economic trade, to do better with the domestic economy, and to have a population of citizens that has faith about living in a nation that has the potential to be a better version of its predecessors.

This is a new age of electoral politics. This is an age that has been influenced by the globalization of economies, ideas and technology, where the media has the ability to reach all corners of the world. This is the start-up of IPF Elect, where our electoral news updates, campaign and grassroots developments have the ability to reach a wider audience.

IPF Elect is a hub for global citizens to use their voice. Elections are your personal reality, the result of actions taken by people that were voted to be the leader of your home. So make a contribution, elections everywhere, from lower-level domestic politics to higher-level and in the international realm. IPF Elect is here to follow the elections and campaign trail of all nominees and to provide readers with knowledgeable insights to the interconnectedness of electoral politics and daily life.
