Natasha Lipman
Founder & Director
Natasha is the founder of the International Political Forum. Natasha grew up in London, England. After graduating high school, she moved to Paris, France to learn French and “find herself”. This led her to pursue her BA (Hons) in International Relations from Regent’s American College in London. Natasha is currently taking a sabbatical from a postgraduate student of International Relations at Webster Graduate School. She is an alumni of the British Council’s Global Changemaker’s Program and an international youth advocate. In October 2012, Natasha won a trip to India to meet Richard Branson with the Virgin Media Pioneers for her work on the IPF. Natasha’s main areas of interest are the Arab-Israeli conflict and US domestic and foreign policy. Natasha is happiest when she’s travelling, and when she’s not you will often find her with her nose stuffed in a good book! Priyanka Mogul

Priyanka is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Political Forum and a graduate in Journalism with Human Rights from Kingston University. She was the Online Editor for Kingston University’s River Newspaper and winner of the ‘Digital Journalist of the Year’ award in 2015. She has previously undertaken Communications internships with United Nations Association, British Institute of Human Rights and One World Media. Additionally, Priyanka sat on the Youth Advisory Board for Index on Censorship and founded the Spread The Word Campaign. She has written for publications like Al Jazeera, The Huffington Post, The Ecologist, Time Out London, The London Film Review, and others. Vinayak Rajesekhar

Vinayak Rajesekhar is a 23-year old student from the University of Delhi, New Delhi, India and has completed a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a diploma in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding. His passion lies in analysing the deeply embedded impact of relationship between politics and religion in the Middle East on civil society and hopes to build a career in the field of journalism pursuant with his interests. Will Perry Evans

William currently works for the United States Peace Corps at the University of Virginia. He served abroad as a development volunteer from 2011-2013 in Jordan teaching English and carrying out projects in a rural community. Previous to that he served as an AmeriCorps VISTA managing and coordinating the Coalition for Refugee Resettlement. An avid reader of international news, his interests include issues of forced migration, foreign policy, and the American imagination. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies.   

Jamal Russell Black

Jamal has recently graduated with a BA in International Management and a minor in International Relations from Regent’s University, London. While undergoing his BA he helped found the Regent’s Human Rights Society, subsequently becoming it’s President. Jamal will be starting his MSc in fall 2014 at the University of California, San Diego, focusing on International Relations and Pacific Affairs. Aparna Chandrasekar

Aparna is a graduate of the University of Warwick where she studied Engineering and Business Management where she was Chair of the Warwick Debating Union and President of Warwick Think Tank. She has previously interned at KPMG Singapore where she worked on Food Security and Food Supply Chain projects and the Rajaratnam School of International Studies. Abbie Saunders

Abbie is an English Literature Graduate from Cambridge University. She currently works as a freelance writer, editor, and film critic and spent four months living in Paris and working in the French fashion industry. She is training to become a Meditation Practitioner and Holistic Therapist since she is passionate about alternative therapies and reforming the health sector. In the future she hopes to raise media awareness of complementary cancer and HIV treatments. In her spare time she loves learning new languages, travelling, playing piano, reading, and walking.

Sohini Chatterjee

Sohini Chatterjee has majored in Political Science from Presidency University, Kolkata where most of her undergraduate years were spent debating on gender and LGBT rights. She identifies as a feminist and has written extensively on identity politics on various youth forums in India. She is also associated with NGOs which work for the cause of underprivileged children, the homeless and the slum dwellers in West Bengal, India. Sohini believes writing is a powerful tool which, if used wisely, can end bigotry the world over. 

Michael Rose
LGBTQ Editor  As a graduate from the University of Winchester with a BA in History, Michael has recently returned home to the UK from a year working in NorthEast China under the British Council. While he primarily holds a strong passion for human rights and the importance of environmental awareness, Michael has also spent several years as a music journalist having interviewed the likes of These New Puritans, Bastille and Mount Kimbie for a number of different publications such as The 405 and The Edge. In his spare time, Michael can usually be found online watching videos of Fleetwood Mac live or hunting for the perfect Simpsons t-shirt.

Tor Abrams
Economy Editor
Tor graduated with a BSc in Economics from Leicester University in 2015. During his studies, he was President of the Economics Society and Student Chair for his department. Having previously been selected for Google’s Top Black Talent program; Tor is now an intern at the Civil Service where he is participating in Youth Leaders UK, led by the US Ambassador to the country. He is also currently fundraising for youth homelessness charity DePaul UK. Catarina Demony

Catarina is the founder of The Voiceless, a media platform about human rights violations, and recently graduated from Kingston University with a Journalism degree. Currently, she works in the communications team at Back Up, a small charity that helps people who are paralysed by accident or illness. Catarina also works as a Marketing and Communications Volunteer at Sochi 2014, a play detailing the lives of LGBT+ community in Russia, and as a Youth Panel at Asia House.She is an activist with a particular interest in refugee rights and the fight to end FGM.

Anjuli Borgonha

Anjuli is an English Literature graduate from the University of Brighton and currently works as client liaison officer for a small British company. After graduating from university she moved to Colombia for two years where she worked at the British Embassy in Bogotá before moving to London in February 2015. Anjuli’s main areas of interest are cultural representation and Arab female experience and after graduating she gave a conference paper discussing the politicized reception and marketing of Arab women’s writing in the West.  Anjuli speaks fluent Spanish and has previously also lived in Spain and Bolivia.
